How to Enter Download / Bootloader Mode

Most modern development boards with CP2102, CH340, or FTDI chips handle automatic reset strapping. If your board does not enter download mode automatically:

Press and hold the BOOT (or IO0) button down.
Press and release the EN / RST button once.
Release the BOOT button.
Click Connect Device in this flasher tool.
